I met Alana and Matt in Boston during Sail Boston, 2017 on a warm sticky summer evening. We dodged the crowds and had gorgeous views of the tall ships leaving the harbor along with a dockside band. They showed up looking as classy as ever and as our session continued they warmed up more and more to the camera. You can see Boston in all of it’s summer glory with some adorable shots of these two! Can’t wait for their 2018 Boston nuptials!
New York City has always and will always be my favorite city no matter how many times I travel the world and see new places. On this day the West Village happened to treat us extremely well. When I spoke to Mandee about her ideas and vision for her wedding day and engagement session I knew her style was going to be absolutely flawless and it sure was.
Mandee and David showed up looking fantastic for their session and things only got better as we kept shooting. We started at the place where they first met and made our way around the city visiting different places that they have marked as landmarks throughout their relationship. A gorgeous couple, champagne toast, peonies, the most perfect sunset and 75 degree temperatures… it doesn’t get much better for us photographers. I’m so thankful that the weather held out for us and gave us the absolute perfect setting for a city session. Now, counting down until the wedding!
It’s sessions like this that remind me how much I love the warm weather in New England. We caught the last dose of Cherry Blossom’s which put the finishing touches on an adorable session. The Huang’s were so easy going and fun, laughing at my dumb jokes and great sports even though we all know canoodling with your significant other in front of a camera isn’t always the most natural or easiest thing. Loved this session and so happy to say… warm weather has officially arrived!
